Re: Zekle// I'm Proud Of Our Country Haiti

HAITI __ZEKLE IS ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIMES.APART OF TABOU COMBO/MAGNUM BAND WHO CAN COUNT ON PLAYING MUSIC FOR OTHER AGES, ALL GENERATIONS.I'M GLAD THEY'RE BACK ON TRACK FOR GOOD.HAITIAN PEOPLE ARE HAPPY FOE THESE TALENTED MUSICIANS.IT IS GOOD WHEN YOU HAVE A GROUP THAT EVERYONE RESPECTS.I'M HOPING THAT THEY DO NOT USE ANYTHING THAT CAN MAKE THEM FAIL DURING THEIR JOURNEY EITHER IN HAITI OR ELSEWHERE.BECAUSE LOTS OF MUSICIANS USE STUFF THAT THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO.JUST REMEMBER LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS, WE DO NOT PAY FOR IT.MUSIC MAKES PEOPLE FEEL BETTER ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY'RE SICK, BECAUSE THEY CAN DANCE AND SING, LET'S BRING HOT STUFF TO THE PUBLIC ALL THE TIMES WITH THE GENRE OF MUSIC YOU'RE PLAYING:CLAUDE, JOEL, MUSHI.RAOUL ARIUS, ETC.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Triste Zèklè!

by Lalanne Widy on 9/25

etc.

I Agree with you Jean P.
I think we need to learn before posting comments to actually do our homework! Your comment is just untrue! if u can say that then my friend u know NOTHING about haitien music and that is just disappointing!
Haitians like to listen to so many different types of music, which is later reflected in their music, take the time and actually ask people and research instead of coming with your preconceived and false ideas.

We listen to everything from flamenco, to jazz to reggae, to hip hop to african genres to salsa, Bossa nova, just to name a few.
For your info we also play Jazz, and classical music! i for myself play the cello and play in a philharmonic orchestra in HAITI oh and we dont need education when it comes to music we have inspired the whole Caribbean and elsewhere with our music.

this is why Haiti has such a bad reputation because people like you find the time to denigrate HAITI by spreading false information with 0 facts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Triste Zèklè!---you Lie! --lol Well That's Not True

Haitians, in my opinions, are those of the fewest or rarest nations on earth who grow up listen to all kind of genres music.

For example, l grew up in Gonaives, Haiti, where most of us had different genres of musics for our favorites..

For example, some people enjoy the kind of Zekle, Master Dji and Emeline Michel kind, while at the same times some would also listen to beat freestyle musics, dance break song, some enjoyed listen to Zouk, some enjoyed listen to reggae, some chansonnettes francaise and R&b. I myself used to listen and still now to freestyle beat dance with artist like Stevie B, and I also African-American such as Bobby Brown, Guy, Micheal, Jermaine, Jacknet Jackson, MC Hammer etc..

and I listened to Yellowman one of the best reggae Artists, and on top of that Iisten to radio stations such as Radio Superstars, Metro pole, and than Tropic..As you know most Haitians radio stations use to play all kind of mucis and they used to have time to play different genres at certain times.

So you not right by saying educating Haitians on music.

I think when it comes to musics, Haitians people born and grow up in Haiti listen to more different genres song than any country in the world.

Therefore, we know about music differences than ANY nations l can think of.

For example, I met people here who do not know song and artists in the U.S.A while the songs and artists are very popular in Haiti...

So how come you make such a statement when you don't have fact?

Long Live Zekle

by Ethnedp Edouard on 3/18

I grew up with music.

My father is one of the most talented musician i have ever seen. He plays anything, from piano to drum, but my favorite of it all was acoustic guitar.

My point is, i admire great music.

Good, fun and decent music.

Zekle is one of the most influential band of all time. Although i was still a kid at the time, Zekle had already stole my heart.

Kuddos to you guys. I cant wait for a comeback album.
