West Palm Beach Firefighter, Lieutenant Nate Lasseur, founded International Firefighters Assistance, Inc. (IFA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that trains and equips firefighters and emergency rescue workers in Haiti.
Local citizens are also taught valuable life-saving skills that will assist them to better prepare for emergencies and disasters.

IFA is a registered 501(c)3 non- profit organization in Florida that provides humanitarian assistance, support, education and training to firefighters and emergency rescue workers in underprivileged countries.
IFA hopes to strengthen local communities by assisting its citizens to better prepare for emergencies and disasters.
The Republic of Haiti is currently IFA's target country.
