My name is Maya Dorcil.

I'm an haitian musician now living in New Zealand, born in the late sixties in Petion-ville, Haiti.

As a pre-teen, I was absolutely blessed to see and hear you play more than once....then as a teen moved to new york, became a musician myself and went on to travel and play my music the world over....ok, I was feeling a little nostalgic a cple of months ago as we do here and there, thinking of my childhood in Haiti.

Once I got to my studio, I went straight to youtube and Eureka.

I didn't even know you had music videos back then....so, in a sense, it was like rediscovering you all over again.

Video clips of all my favorite songs of yours were there: Rejettez, Confession, Mize pou Rodrigue, etc....

You were way way ahead of your time. You're absolutely the best, an absolute haitian treasure...Thank you and thank you very much sir...God bless
