I was born in a small town in the north of Haiti called Le Borgne in the late 1960's. When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I remember an older cousin of mine singing all the time "Rejete." The lyric struck me as so real and passionate.

And now, I am in my early 40's, after forgetting the song for such a long time, it became so fresh to me after watching the video on youtube.

The song brings back so much good memories.
